I used this to connect a USB 3.0 hub (built into my monitor) to two different computers. My only concern was whether the devices attached to this hub would all be detected correctly once I was accessing them via the SGEYR USB switch. I'm happy to report both computers, one running Windows 10 and the other running Ubuntu Linux 20.04, were able to access all the devices correctly via the SGEYR.I also checked performance using an *old* SATA SSD connected to a SATA to USB adapter. This SSD+adapter combo gets 250 MB/sec connected directly to my computer and I got the same speed accessing it through the SGEYR USB 3.0 switch. I think USB 3.0 can go faster than 250 MB/sec but that's all I have available to test with. Still, the test shows the SGEYR device is much faster than USB 2.0.If you need an inexpensive device to connect two computers to one USB 3.0 port then this works great!
