I’ve always been impressed by Saramonic mics. They aren’t Rode quality but they’re extremely good for their price point. These are no exception to that but they do have a flaw: it seems they were designed with the thinnest iPhone cases in mind.I have a SkinIt impact case on mine and the lightning connector is about 1mm short of using these without an extender. With the extender installed the receiver sticks out quite a bit from the phone which may be a dealbreaker for some people.Ease of use and sound quality is good; they just should have made the lightning connector a little longer. The sound quality is excellent and this is a reliable lab mic setup. The transmitter +/- buttons are somewhat fragile. I replaced the component happily because the overall system works so well. Great for YouTube. This is a fantastic product. You plug it in, turn it on and it just works. I can’t stress how important it is to have a good mic the correct distance from your mouth when recording. This is a really nice wireless solution when recording on your phone.I used this as an add-on to another Blink500 that I already had. This allows me to have two microphones input to my church's FB Live broadcast. Works well!It couldn’t be easier to operate. Just be sure to press and hold the lavalier mic on button for about two seconds, and the mini-LED on it will start flashing blue and red. THEN you plug the receiver into your iOS device, in this case it is my iPad. Once powered by being plugged in it will automatically be paired with the transmitter(s) or transmitter if you are using just one. You are all set. You choose the camera setting on the iPad main screen, and then choose "Video", hit the round record button and bingo, you're in business. When playing back be sure to unplug the receiver otherwise you won't hear anything. Once the receiver is unplugged your recording comes alive.I find the voice quality to be more than acceptable. It is clear with no distortion, or undesirable anomalies. I put it to the distance test by leaving my iPad on my desk recording, and with the lavaliere on my T Shirt collar I walked to the opposite end of my 60-foot-long house, and the signal had to go through plaster walls, and not a single glitch. It didn't drop the signal. So, there you have it. A portable, easy to use device, that is so small and self-contained you can easily hide it out of view, and still get an excellent sound recording. The fact that there are two of them means your guest can wear one as well. The important thing worth mentioning here and is the reason why I am a fan of lavalier microphones is that you get a constant signal strength. I have several shotgun mics, and when used properly they can provide a really nice end result, but are subject to more fluctuations because if your subject, or the mic for that matter is aimed differently, or the subject turns their head and speaks off to one side the volume can waiver significantly. Of course, this can be corrected somewhat in editing if you use some compression, but there is nothing like having a steady signal right off of the bat. Audio is key. If for example a You Tube video is being watched, and the audio gets wonky, it is so important it may just turn the people off.I have other two transmitter/and single receiver units but for the most part they are bulky, and not so easy to hide. This Saramonic is so compact, you can even carry the whole box it comes in, in a pocket. All in all, a 5-star product. Well made.Don't buy it by itself.Es un producto muy bueno, su relación calidad precio es excelente, sonido limpio y de calidadThis doesn't look as slick or feel as sturdy as my brother-in-law's, though since this is a third of the price of his super duper one, I'm in no way surprised by that and am not really bothered by these types of superficial details - I want something under the three digit price-point, mainly to help enhance the sound quality during video streams/calls/presentations/they're-checking-that-you-are-where-you-say-you-are for work.Let's just jump right into the important stuff and find out if I think that this actually works better than simply relaying on the sound quality of my phone or tablet, shall we? I'm satisfied; this doesn't quite the quality levels of certain well-known brands, but it definitely does improve the sound volume & acoustics noticeably. I'd say that this is a great for those of us who need something like this for work as you get a spare, which can be enjoyed by others for vlogging in the meantime...This is a handy wireless microphone that works perfectly well on my iPhone. You don’t need to download any APP, which is a good thing. Basically, it’s just plug and play, and you’re ready to start recording! I have tried recording briefly and the sound is very clear and crisp.I do like this item very much, which is small enough to easily put it in your pocket and take it anywhere with you. It comes with a handy pouch to store your transmitter, microphone and cable charger.I cannot wait to properly start using this for making my video content!Overall, a very good product that does its job pretty well.My measuring point for these kind of mics is the Rode Wireless go. Now to get the same amount of mics and connection you are looking at 3 time the price so this is a great entry level product. It is quite plasticky but that does make it very light. It is easy enough to clip into place and works well with my iPhone straight away no need for adaptors. The downside would be I’d have to get a new model if I switched to a phone or device that wasn’t using a lighting connectorThe sound quality is pretty decent for the price and pairing is super easy.
