Needed a small discreet solution for my multi-SSD setup and allowed 10gbps transfers. Filled up my SATA ports, and decided to utilize my Type-E port (10Gbps) connection on my motherboard. Currently have 2 SSDs [w/SATA to USB connection] connected to the Type-E port through this hub. The hub works as stated.*NOTE: this hub REQUIRES a 5V 2A power connection to work as intended, so I had to MacGyver a connection from a 12V Molex adapter to a 5V stepdown converter to Type-C to get this thing working for my purposes.**This product was one of the better solutions I found for my purposes, and hopefully for yours as well. If you're doing the same thing as I am - make sure you have your PSU switched OFF as you're setting up everything and plugging stuff in. Keep in mind that when turning on your PC, AFTER YOURE DONE AND SWITCHING YOUR PSU "ON", the USB hub might not work properly since it needs consistent power flowing into it. Restarting your computer should do the trick to get it going though.***Please also be aware of your PSU capabilities and the voltage requirements for whatever project you're doing to ensure that you don't F anything up.
